Pros and cons of a bitless bridle?

I think it'd be alright if when you do use a bit it's a mild one. I have a horse that I couldn't use anything but a bitless bridle on. (she was abused and couldn't handle having a bit in her mouth because a really strong was was used improperly and it was unnecessary.) I know many horses that respond better to the bitless bridles, but it mainly has to do with preference. If you don't feel safe with your horse without a bridle I wouldn't reccomend it because it can be harder for them to get retrained if they take advantage of you.If you wanted to keep a bit but help with the chewing you could get a figure 8 nose band but I think you could try the bitless and see what you think :). I prefer it because it makes it really hard to get in the horses mouth and it teaches you how to rely more on your legs and weight shifting which has a better effect on them anyways. When I used to show my horse bit less (it was just rodeos) it didn't matter if you had a bit, however I think that english has different rules for what you can and cannot have. Try it you'll like it :)

Betta breeding question?!?

Ok I have a male and female veiltail betta. I have them both in a 10 gal tank with a plexiglas divider and ech on one side. The male made a bubble neat but I think it's jut the border of the styro foam cu right now, I think he's still working on it a little. Anyways, my female lived with a different male for the past week week in a half were they could see eachother no stop,( there was the divider) I didn't have intentions on mating them plus, he never would make a bubble nest. But I just put he on his side like 2 hrs ago to see if she was ready and he started chasing her for a bit and she swam away and laid on the ground like she was playing dead, so I moved her back to her side and she is drilling trying to swim towards him! Worried about my dads health?

basically he had a heart attack about 4 years ago because of smoking. afterwards, i think he gave up for about a few months, but the smoking slowly started to creep back in. he has tried to quite once more since then, and hasnt been able to. i dont think he smokes as much as he used to, but still..... i think now hes just given up giving up. he is very stubborn and thinks "sod it, i dont care if i die" and its just worrying me. he also gets stressed quite easily too, which is something else that contributes to a heart attack. he doesn't have an unhealthy diet, and probably could do with a bit more excersize. he also takes all of the pills that he is supposed to, the only real issue is smoking and stressed, because he smokes more when he's stressed. please dont tell me to talk to him about how i feel etc because my whole family have tried, and he just gets so worked up and ends up having an angina attack or something. is there anything else he can do which will help balance out the fact he smokes?? or at leats help?? and also, HOW CAN I STOP WORRYING. seriously, its ruining me. if i hear footsteps in the night i panic because i think its my dad downstairs having a heart attack. i just don't know what to do, someone please help!

Recently he approached me in a pub and verbally attacked me and threaten me. I paid the �200 as i felt intimidated. He then text me after i paid this money(keeping the bank receipt) and asked for another �80. I paid that across to his bank in fear he would attack me again. I went to my local the other day and he was there totally out of his head and although he did not see me i left straight away because i felt unsafe. If women are equal to men in Islam why is it like this? Also, why can't women and men be in the same room but with a divider down the middle or something like that? My nephew that live in Wisconsin (I'm in California) wants to come out and live with us. They came for the summer last year, and he loved it, and loved how he has so much family and cousins out here. Where they live they have no family, their aunt lived out there, but has since moved back out here. His mother and father both agree to this, and are willingly sending him to us. There is no abuse going on, theirs no drugs involved, he just wants to live in California where all of our family is. The rest of their family, mom, dad, brother, and sister do not want to move back here, they're happy where they are. So my question is do we have to go through the courts? Or can we just do some type of notarized letter stating that they give us full guardianship? In order to file for guardianship is going to be roughly about $600 without an attorney, plus they'll have to fly out for the court hearing. We really don't want to have to pay so much, if we don't have to. Our main concern is for health insurance, in order to add him to my husbands insurance I believe we have to have guardianship? Any thoughts?

I went to the doctor today to have something checked and the doctor didn't seem to think that it was a high chance that it was cancer. I have a small lump on one of my testes that is on the side of it I have noticed it for about 8 years and never thought anything about it cause I was told it could be from a sports injury I had. Recently my chest has been hurting with some abdominal pain. Got it checked out and chest x-ray shows nothing and heart and lungs check good. Doctor atest the pain to A tear or strain on the cartilage in between my ribs. But the lump that is on my testicle is soft not hard, not moved, not changed in size, so didn't know if it might of been cancer or what kinda worried that it might of spread but then again i jump to the worse

When my friend told me the date for the days we are going (she can not go ANY other time because she just started this new job) so anyway, another tech i work with is taking off for one of the weeks i am gone. she's been there for about 8 years, and she said that the doctors will say it's ok for both of us to take off and she said, "everything will be fine, it's okay you can still do your trip". so i talked to one of the docs and he said it was okay to take off for two weeks. i told him "are you sure? i know this is a lot to ask for". he said it's all good. well, one of the techs (who isnt taking a vaca this year) is now mad at me and isnt talking to me because she now knows that since they will be two techs short she will have to work more hours for the week. i feel HORRIBE! should i feel guity for this?!? i've been crying over it because i hate being hated!!!

My battery is new but my car wont start?!?

So I thought it was my battery that wouldn't make my car start every few times a month I would have to jump it so it can start so I was pretty sure it was the battery. I then see a closet in the dining room with my cold weather desert camouflage jacket (which I got when I deployed to Iraq) hanging from it, and then my 2nd older brother and the brother with whom I was arguing also started to argue with him. I stepped outside of the house and nearly swung at the older brother with whom I was arguing with a long tree branch. After I got tired of hearing him I went back in to my house, went into my old room (which now belongs to the older brother who joined me in the argument with my other older brother). I sat down on my bed and looked through the window behind me and saw thunder clouds covering most of that side of the sky which was on the west, and then I looked through the window to my right towards the east and saw the complete constellation of Orion rising in the night sky above a few small feathery clouds. Since that dream I have obtained two IT certifications and I am waiting to study for another one pretty soon, and I understand about a constellation in a dream meaning that my life is coming together in a complex manner. But I don't know what the constellation of Orion, the thunderstorm clouds, the unknown person, and my desert camouflage jacket in a closet mean. I love coyote hunting, and i love whitetail hunting. My neighbor and I are going to Montana next year to hunt mule deer. I want a Rifle that will be mainly used on coyotes and whitetail. I narrowed it down to the 243. win. I was looking at the Sako 85 Finnlight but the price on this rifle is a little past my budget unless i don't want a scope and shoot open sights... which wont be happening. So my next look was the Sako A7 Stainless and the reviews are good, there's accuracy guaranteed. I would through a nice scope with probably high variables like 4-12, 4.5-14 or 4-16 something like that so i can take those yotes at long ranges but still be able to take whitetail into closer ranges. Serpentine belt causing rough idle?

Ok so, for a while here my car has been making a rather bothersome squealing noise coming from the serpentine belt in my car(97 civic si) Just over the past week here I finally got fed up with it and gave it a good spray down with WD-40. The noise has died down quite a lot but I've still noticed what feels like an irregular missing all through the vehicle. As in it will miss once, wait a second then do it 3-4 times in a row, wait, then once again, and repeat. So far to try and troubleshoot the problem I've both changed out the spark plugs and ran through a couple different fuel injector cleaners. Both felt as though they were working for a short while before acting up again which could very well be a placebo type effect. I have taken it in a couple times to the shop and had them run a diagnostics on it and it came up with a bunch of fuel related codes but nothing belt related. Could this have to do with the serpentine belt at all and if so what could I do to check it out at home?

Its wierd, I took a vacation to the sun and sea and returned with a different view on my recent break up with my ex. My cat has liver problems and a m in his abdomen?

I have had my cat for a long time now , and when most people tell me he is just getting old thats not good enough for me. This cat is my buddy and he doesnt seem to be miserable or in pain cause he still purrs and looks at people with big open eyes. But I did take him to the vet yesterday and let them do blood work and xrays. So the bloodwork says that everything is normal , blood , oxygen , electrolytes , kidney.. all that is fine but the liver isnt.and there is a m, most likely a tumor in his abdomen and they said that unfortunately there is nothing they can do because they cant tell what exactly is wrong with the liver until they do an ultrasound. problem is i got laid off my job a few months ago , and just paid $300 for the visit yesterday. an ultrasound is big bucks!! but i want my cat to be healthy again. what do i do??

I had accrued a lot of points in a short time and was offline for two weeks or so, only to find out that I am back down to a level 1 and lost all my points.... This isn't cool or fair, if you earned them, you earned them. I didn't see anywhere it said that your points are subject to a total loss if you aren't online for so many days. Slightly elevated bilirubin level. Should I be concerned?

I'm a 29 year old male who recently had blood work done to check cholesterol levels and a few other things just for my own records. I'm in reasonably good health, exercise (run, play hockey) eat loads of vegetables and fish and no meat (pork, beef or chicken). Everything on my blood work was fine except for an elevated bilirubin level which was 26 where the normal range was 0-16. My doctor didn't seem overly concerned and his office wasn't going to even notify me of this unless I came in and actually wanted to review the results with him. He said all my liver enzyme levels were fine but he said we should do a microbiology test for hepatitis (A,B,C) and STD's (HIV, Syphilis). I just did that test today and am now nervously awaiting results. I have no health issues that I know of at all. I am very rarely ill, never as much as had a cold all winter, never fatigued and no pains or aches. Now I am sitting here fearing the worst! Anyone out there with any experience or advice on this? I should note that I do probably drink a bit too often. I do still drink probably 4-5 times a month and am thinking this may be taking it's toll on my liver.

I would like to lubricate the guide roller tracks and cette basket slots on my old but still functioning JVC vcrs but am not sure of which grease to use. Someone suggested white lithium grease as long as it's not petroleum based so as to be compatible with plastic parts. Periods... how long will it go on for? Too much blood?

dont worry i have just started my periods too and it can be a bit arkward at first but you'll soon get used to it! Some times you get a lot of blood mainly towards the start of your period. Talk to your mum and she will give you everything you need. It is a good idea to start with towels until you get used to it. Bring a few extras to school to get changed at breaks and you'll be fine continue with your normal schedule even doing PE! If you do get stomach pain get a hot water bottle and hold it agaisnt your stomach or have a nice hot bubbly bath or even treat yourself and have a choccy bar its normal to feel down when you have your periods but ur not alone dont worry it wont be long b4 the bleeding stops but it varies with everyone
