What happened to my points?

I had accrued a lot of points in a short time and was offline for two weeks or so, only to find out that I am back down to a level 1 and lost all my points.... This isn't cool or fair, if you earned them, you earned them. I didn't see anywhere it said that your points are subject to a total loss if you aren't online for so many days. Is there anyway to get those points back that I had by calling someone? Or do I have to start all over again? This is really disappointing.
