Can anyone help me with a question for testicular cancer?

I went to the doctor today to have something checked and the doctor didn't seem to think that it was a high chance that it was cancer. I have a small lump on one of my testes that is on the side of it I have noticed it for about 8 years and never thought anything about it cause I was told it could be from a sports injury I had. Recently my chest has been hurting with some abdominal pain. Got it checked out and chest x-ray shows nothing and heart and lungs check good. Doctor atest the pain to A tear or strain on the cartilage in between my ribs. But the lump that is on my testicle is soft not hard, not moved, not changed in size, so didn't know if it might of been cancer or what kinda worried that it might of spread but then again i jump to the worse
