Why do some people frown upon, or even react strongly, towards those who perform public display of affection?

I think there ought to be more such displays. They ought to be less discreet, and people should be permitted to commit hard-core acts of ual congress on park benches, fully bare. I think that's how it is in parts of Eastern Europe, mostly because of the dense population and general lack of privacy.
